Pick Up Limes: Cardamom Avocado & Blueberry Smoothie
Ingredients
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup (150 g) frozen blueberries**
  • 1/2 cup (120 mL) unsweetened soy yogurt*
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 cup (240 mL) unsweetened oat milk*
  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cardamom pods seeds only (optional)
  • ⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup (75 g) frozen pineapple chunks
Direction

1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
2. Pour the smoothie in tall glasses and top with desired garnish. Enjoy!

Notes
* Nutrition tip: aim to use plant-based yogurt and milk that are fortified with calcium.
** We used frozen wild blueberries, which we've found gives a more vibrant purple colour once blended.

Storage
Smoothies are best enjoyed immediately.
The smoothie can be stored in an air-tight jar for up to 2 days.

hemp seeds
unsweetened shredded coconut
