Pick Up Limes: Cardamom Avocado & Blueberry Smoothie

- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup (150 g) frozen blueberries**
- 1/2 cup (120 mL) unsweetened soy yogurt*
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 cup (240 mL) unsweetened oat milk*
- ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 cardamom pods seeds only (optional)
- ⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup (75 g) frozen pineapple chunks
1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
2. Pour the smoothie in tall glasses and top with desired garnish. Enjoy!
Notes
* Nutrition tip: aim to use plant-based yogurt and milk that are fortified with calcium.
** We used frozen wild blueberries, which we've found gives a more vibrant purple colour once blended.
Storage
Smoothies are best enjoyed immediately.
The smoothie can be stored in an air-tight jar for up to 2 days.
